Raed Bawayah - Palestine
Trained at the Musrara School of Photography in Jerusalem, Raed has exhibited in prestigious venues such as the Maison Européenne de la Photographie in Paris and has taken part in major events such as the Visa pour l'Image festival in Perpignan and the Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles, where in 2009 he presented a series of photographs of patients at Bethlehem psychiatric hospital as part of the Prix Découverte. He is also the founder of numerous photographic events such as La Quatrième Image, the Vienna International Photo Award and others.

Hiroshi Watanabe - Japan
Hiroshi Watanabe captures in his work a humanism
of rare intensity, inspired by a rich cultural heritage.
Born in 1951 in Sapporo, Japan, he first explored
photographic art at Nihon University College of Art
before moving to the United States, where he
trained in film at the University of California at Los
Angeles (UCLA). Hiroshi Watanabe's work has been
exhibited in prestigious galleries and museums, his
photographs have also won several awards,
including the Photolucida Critical Mass Book Award
and appearances at several photography festivals.
